How to Become a Home Inspector in Connecticut in 4 Steps:

Step One: Complete an approved 40-hour home inspection course. Our online home inspection course is fully approved to meet the Connecticut’s requirements.

Step Two: Take and pass the National Home Inspectors Exam.

Step Three: Perform one hundred supervised home inspections. Ten of those home inspections must be directly supervised by a trained, certified, Connecticut licensed home inspector.
