Become a Home Inspector in Maryland in 3 Steps:
Step One: Complete 72 hours of approved home inspection classroom training. Maryland’s Commissioner of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management, and Home Inspectors Companies have given ICA full approval to provide home inspector license training. Inspection Certification Associates offers prospective licensees an 8-day Home Inspection Classroom Training Course, which satisfies Maryland’s requirement for pre-licensing classroom training.
Step Two: Take and pass the National Home Inspectors Exam (NHIE). ICA training materials include an online NHIE study guide with more than 700 practice questions. When you complete ICA’s for pre-licensing training, you’ll be fully prepared to take and pass the NHIE exam.
Step Three: Start your own home inspection business or go to work for an existing home inspection company!
