Home Inspector Training Requirements in NC
Step One: Complete an approved 120-hour home inspection training course. The ICA online course is fully approved to meet this requirement. View our approval letter.
Step Two: Complete 80-hours of home inspection field training. Our field training dates are listed below. Students can complete the field training before, during, or after the completion of their online course.
Step Three: Take and pass the North Carolina Home Inspectors Exam. We fully prepare all students for this exam by including our North Carolina Pass the Test Course ($399 value) which can be completed online at your own pace or by attending one of our 2-day live instructor-led NC Pass the Test webinars.
