Looking to earn your Washington home inspector license? Washington State requires classroom home inspection training and field inspection training to become a state licensed home inspector.
Steps to becoming a licensed Washington home inspector:
- The state requires 120 hours of classroom home inspection training and 40 hours of field inspection training to become a licensed home inspector. See ICA’s state-approved training schedule below.
- Washington also requires that home inspectors take and pass the National Home Inspectors Exam in order to become licensed. ICA’s comprehensive training and exam preparation modules will help you pass your test the first time.
